| Obverse description | Blue on pale cream guilloche underprint. The upper portion carries the bold title inscription 'GUTSCHEIN der Kreise Norder- u. Süder-Dithmarschen über' flanked by two circular seal vignettes bearing the Imperial German eagle — at left for Kreis Norderdithmarschen and at right for Kreis Süderdithmarschen. A central ornamental cartouche with rosette corners contains the denomination legend 'FÜNFZIG PFENNIG' in large bold lettering, with the numeral '50' repeated at lower left and right. Below the cartouche appears the signature line 'Die Vorsitzenden der Kreisausschüsse:' with two manuscript signatures. |
