| Obverse description | Black and salmon-red note with the bank title BANCO COMERCIAL DE SANTAFÉ across the top in large bold lettering, flanked by ornate guilloche medallions bearing the numeral 50 in each corner. The central vignette presents an allegorical female figure seated on a barrel, holding a cornucopia of flowers, with a harbour scene and sailing vessels in the background; to the lower left, a smaller vignette shows figures on horseback, while to the lower right a grazing bull is rendered in fine intaglio engraving.
