| Obverse description | Central vignette presents an intaglio rendering of the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia in Higüey, its modernist soaring parabolic spires rising above the arched nave, captioned BASILICA DE N.S. DE LA ALTAGRACIA below. The left portion carries the circular seal of the Banco Central de la República Dominicana as an underprint alongside floral guilloche ornaments, with the denomination numeral 50 rendered in large letterpress at each corner. Two facsimile signatures appear at the lower margin, attributed to the Gobernador del Banco Central and the Secretario de Estado de Finanzas. |
