Obverse description Portrait vignette of Antonio José de Sucre in military uniform at left, set within an oval frame, against an intricate guilloche underprint. The large numeral "50" appears at centre-right, flanked by the text "PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR" above and "CINCUENTA PESOS ORO" below on a banner. The date "1° DE ENERO DE 1926" and place "BOGOTA, COLOMBIA" are printed at lower centre, with signature lines for Gerente and Secretario.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in blue-green and dominated by the large numerals "50" repeated in each corner within ornate guilloche panels. A central circular vignette contains an allegorical female figure representing Liberty, surrounded by the bank name legend. The lower margin carries the denomination in full text, and the imprint of the American Bank Note Company appears at the very bottom.
