Beschrijving voorzijde	Black print on yellow-green underprint. The obverse bears a portrait vignette of Simón Bolívar at right and the Colombian Arms at left, with the denomination and issuing authority legends arranged across the face. The date reads Bogotá, August 1910, with an amortization clause inscribed below the denomination.
Opschrift voorzijde	LA REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA BILLETE POR VALOR DE 50 CINCUENTA PESOS AMORTIZABLE CONFORME Á LAS LEYES BOGOTÁ, AGOSTO DE 1910 (Translation: The Republic of Colombia Banknote worth of Fifty Pesos Amortizable according to the Laws Bogota, August 1910)
Beschrijving keerzijde	Printed in olive on a plain paper ground, the reverse is composed entirely of finely engraved lathe-work guilloché patterns filling the entire field, with large numeral counters '50' at left and right within ornate scroll medallions. A central oval panel carries a manuscript signature above the legend 'JEFE DE LA OFICINA DE CAJA DE LA JUNTA DE CONVERSION', flanked by the denomination 'Cincuenta Pesos' at top and 'REPÚBLICA DE COLOMBIA' at bottom. The imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY, NEW YORK' appears in small lettering at the base.
