背面描述 The central field features a full-color applied image depicting a bust portrait of Anne Bonny, the infamous 18th-century Caribbean pirate, shown facing slightly to the right wearing a broad-brimmed red hat and an open green coat, with curling hair framing her face. Two period sailing vessels are visible in the colorized background behind her figure. The name ANNE BONNY is lettered across the upper portion of the color insert. The outer rim legend PIRATAS DEL CARIBE arcs along the upper periphery in raised gilt letters, flanked by two five-pointed stars at either side, with the issue date 1995 inscribed in the lower exergue.

附加信息

Anne Bonny's appearance on Cuban coinage has less to do with Caribbean solidarity and more to do with the collector market of the 1990s, when Cuba's CASA issued a wave of exotic-themed piedfort and commemorative pieces primarily for export sale in hard currency. Piedforts — struck at double the normal planchet thickness — exist here purely as a premium collectible variant, never intended for circulation.

Bonny herself operated largely out of Nassau and was captured near Jamaica in 1720. Her ultimate fate after trial remains unrecorded.
