| Beschrijving voorzijde | Black intaglio on a brown guilloche underprint, with a condor vignette at upper left and the seal of the Banco Central de Chile positioned at right. The note is designated a provisional issue ("Billete Provisional") dated 8 de Octubre de 1928, with the denomination stated in both pesos and cóndores and a gold-convertibility clause inscribed in the central panel. Multiple signature varieties are known, and the note exists with either large or small serial numbers, as well as variants distinguished by the placement of the printer's imprint. |
