| Obverse description | The obverse is printed predominantly in red and black on a light guilloche underprint. At upper centre, the heading reads PROVINCIA DE JUJUY, below which TITULO PROVINCIAL DE FINANCIAMIENTO appears in bold. A vignette at right depicts the Jujuy Government House (Casa de Gobierno), rendered in fine intaglio-style engraving. The large numeral 50 appears twice in red, flanking the central design, with the legend CINCUENTA PESOS below. A serial number and expiry date (FECHA DE CADUCIDAD 1 DE ABRIL DE 2007) are printed at left, along with the provincial coat of arms and signature lines for the MINISTRO DE ECONOMIA and GOBERNADOR. |
