| 备注 |
This note belongs to the series issued in the immediate aftermath of the 2001–2002 Argentine financial collapse, when the peso was decoupled from the dollar following nearly a decade of convertibility at parity. The Banco Central had been effectively paralyzed during the crisis, and the resumption of normal peso issuance — including this denomination — was itself a signal that the emergency phase had passed.
The eleven-year print run reflects sustained demand rather than a single production decision. Casa de Moneda in Buenos Aires produced the entire series domestically, which had not always been Argentina's practice for higher denominations.
