Description de l’avers	The obverse carries the heading REPUBLICA ARGENTINA across the top, with a central vignette of the Argentine national arms within a circular frame. The issuing bank name EL BANCO PROVINCIAL DE LA RIOJA is inscribed in bold script across the centre, with the denomination CINCUENTA PESOS rendered in letterpress both in words and numerals. Lateral vignettes of allegorical figures occupy the left and right panels, with the value 50 repeated in the upper right corner and the words CINCUENTA and CINCUENTA PESOS printed at the lower left and lower right respectively.

Description du revers	The reverse is laid out symmetrically with the denomination numeral 50 in guilloche-framed medallions at each corner. Three oval cartouches bearing manuscript signatures of authorising officials are arranged vertically in the centre of the note. Dense letterpress text in Spanish fills the upper and lower registers, setting out the legal conditions and obligations of the issuing bank, framed by fine lathe-work borders.
