Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. produced several Spanish issues during the 1920s, and the P-69 series was among the more technically accomplished of them — the firm's intaglio work was considered among the finest available to foreign governments contracting out their security printing during that period. Spain's reliance on British and French printers for prestige issues was largely a function of domestic capacity constraints, not preference.
This is a replica, not an original issue. Handling and attribution should reflect that accordingly.
