Reverse description Central design features a stylized geodesic sphere representing the globe, symbol of the Universal Exposition of Seville 1992 (Expo '92), positioned to the right of centre in the field. The large numeral '50' appears prominently to the left of the sphere, with the inscription PESETAS below and the date 1990 in the lower field. The mint mark (M) for the Royal Mint of Madrid appears to the upper left, alongside the legend EXPO 92 arching across the upper portion of the coin. The reverse was engraved by Alfonso Morales Muñoz.
