Reverse description Printed in light brown and grey over an ocher underprint, the reverse presents a vignette of the Castle of Olite in Navarre, a prominent medieval royal palace, set within geometric guilloche borders. The printer's imprint appears at the foot of the note. The restrained colour palette and architectural subject matter are characteristic of Giesecke & Devrient's engraving style of the period.
