| Obverse description | Uniface-style note printed in dark olive-brown on plain paper, with an elaborate guilloche border enclosing the central design. A large numeral "50" underprint dominates the centre, overlaid with the denomination spelled out as "ÖTVEN PENGŐ" within an ornate foliate vignette. The issuing authority legend appears in a decorative cartouche along the top margin, while two-letter and six-digit serial numbers in red are printed at left and right of centre; the numerals "50" appear in stylised form at each corner within scroll-work frames, and legal tender and anti-counterfeiting warnings are set in two columns flanking the central vignette. |
