These pieces are legal tender in name only; none circulate. The 2022 Harry Potter series, of which this is one piece, was produced under license from Warner Bros. and targets the collector market entirely.
Pitcairn's numismatic program is managed externally, with production contracted to private minting houses rather than any government facility on the island itself.
