Obverse lettering ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY · IRB · FIFTY PENCE · 2017
Reverse description The reverse depicts two iconic British World War I campaign medals in high relief against a deeply mirrored field: the 1914 Star (left, larger) and the 1914-1915 Star (right, smaller), each shown with their respective ribbons and surmounted by the Imperial Crown above a cross-shaped star badge. The central medallions of both awards display crossed swords and the respective campaign dates. A decorative laurel wreath occupies the lower portion of the field, symbolising honour and sacrifice. To the right, a bold multi-line legend reads GAVE THE MOST THAT MAN CAN GIVE, serving as a solemn tribute to those who served in the Great War.
