| Obverse description | The obverse features the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as engraved by Arnold Machin, depicting a right-facing draped bust of the Queen wearing a tiara and with her hair elaborately coiffed. The legend 'ISLE OF MAN' arcs along the left periphery and 'ELIZABETH II' along the right, both in raised Latin characters following the heptagonal coin's curved sides.
