Aanvullende informatie

Saint Helena issued this piece through the Pobjoy Mint, which held the territory's minting contract during this period and produced the bulk of its commemorative coinage. The island's extreme remoteness — population under 6,000, no airport until 2016 — meant its commemorative program existed almost entirely for the collector market rather than any domestic circulation demand.
