| Aanvullende informatie |
The Isle of Man has long exploited its status as a Crown Dependency — outside UK jurisdiction but under the Crown — to issue commemorative coinage that the Royal Mint itself cannot or will not produce. This piece marks the 2017 platinum wedding anniversary of Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, their 70th. Philip died in April 2021, making this one of the last anniversary issues struck while both were living.
