Obverse description Fourth crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem, with a pearl drop earring visible, modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley (initials IRB below the truncation). The circumferential legend reads '· ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY ·' divided across the upper field, with the denomination 'FIFTY PENCE' along the lower left and the date '· 2017 ·' at the base. The portrait is rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished proof field, consistent with the gold-plated finish of the coin.
