| Obverse description | The fifth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, occupies the central field: a right-facing crowned effigy of the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem, with a pearl drop earring visible at her neck. The portrait is rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and crown jewels, befitting the piedfort proof format.
