| Beschrijving keerzijde | A seated allegorical figure of Justicia (Justice) occupies the upper field, rendered in selective gold plating against an architectural background, holding a book and depicted in a classical robed style. The lower half of the coin retains a silver finish and bears the Latin legend JUSTICIA flanked by fleur-de-lis ornaments, beneath which appears the bilingual motto Let JUSTICE Be Done in two lines, with the denomination 50p at the base also flanked by fleur-de-lis devices. |

Issued as part of the broader commemorative program marking Elizabeth II's seventy years on the throne — the first British monarch to reach a Platinum Jubilee — Jersey produced this piece under the authority it has held as a Crown Dependency since the medieval period, issuing its own coinage independently of the United Kingdom. The selective gold plating on the Justicia element was a deliberate production choice to distinguish the allegorical figure from the surrounding field, a technique requiring a secondary electroplating stage after the base strike.
Elizabeth II died in September 2022, just months after this coin entered distribution.
