| 正面描述 | Diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, after the fourth definitive portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The circumferential legend reads ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY, with the date 2015 positioned in the lower right field. The portrait is rendered in fine relief against a polished field, consistent with a prooflike finish. |

The Order of the Thistle is Scotland's highest order of chivalry, revived by James VII of Scotland (James II of England) in 1687, though its origins are claimed — with debatable historicity — to stretch back to Achaius of Scotland in the 9th century. Jersey's inclusion of the order in a commemorative series is a deliberate nod to Crown connections rather than any particular Scottish-Jersey relationship; the Bailiwick has no formal tie to the order itself.
Gold-plated steel issues of this type were struck for the collector market, not circulation. KM#298 is one of several in Jersey's ongoing royal honors sequence from that year.
