Reverse description Three-quarter facing portrait of King Henry VII in Tudor dress, wearing a flat cap and a fur-trimmed robe with a Tudor rose held in his left hand. Overlapping his figure in the right and lower fields are detailed renderings of two historical coins from his reign, their legends and heraldic devices rendered in fine relief. The inscription HENRY VII appears along the left field and the regnal dates 1485-1509 curve along the upper right periphery. The engraver's mark is visible at lower right.
