正面描述 Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, as executed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The legend ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 2015 positioned below the portrait. The engraver's initials IRB appear at the truncation of the bust. The design is rendered in the fourth definitive portrait style used across British Commonwealth coinage.

附加信息

The "Desert Rats" designation refers to the 7th Armoured Division of the British Army, which earned the nickname during the North Africa campaign of 1940–43. Jersey's connection to the commemoration is oblique — the island was under German occupation for the entirety of that war, liberated only in May 1945. The coin is part of a wider British and Crown Dependency commemorative program marking the 70th anniversary of the Second World War's end.

Gold-plated steel with pad printing is a production method associated with souvenir-grade issues rather than numismatic ones. Face value is nominal; these were never intended for circulation.
