Aanvullende informatie

Saint Helena issued this coin as part of the broader Commonwealth commemorative program marking the 50th anniversary of Elizabeth II's coronation — one of the most extensively licensed numismatic events of 2003, with dozens of issuing territories producing parallel pieces under Crown authority. Saint Helena's participation was unremarkable in political terms but notable in one respect: the island's issuing authority has historically produced extremely limited gold strikes, and Fr#8 attribution confirms this piece sits in a very short franchise of French-referenced Saint Helena gold.
