Obverse description The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, rendered in high relief in the proof finish, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. The bust, designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, is draped and displays fine sculptural detail characteristic of his portraiture. The legend encircles the effigy along the raised rim, with the date 2013 and the designer's initials IRB appearing in the field below the truncation.
