Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and draped, as sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The legend ISLE OF MAN arcs across the upper field and ELIZABETH II along the right, with the date 2003 positioned at the base, flanked by small triskelion symbols. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field.

Reverse description Full-color applied depiction of the Snowman and the boy James in flight, derived from Raymond Briggs's celebrated animated film. The Snowman, rendered in white with a black scarf and red-nosed face, is shown airborne alongside James, who is dressed in his distinctive red and yellow outfit.
