One of a set of Winnie-the-Pooh themed 50p pieces released by the Royal Mint in 2020, timed to mark the 95th anniversary of A. A. Milne's original 1926 publication. The licensing arrangement with the Milne estate has made these among the more commercially aggressive Royal Mint releases of recent years — deliberately aimed at the collector and gift market rather than general circulation.
