| Reverse description | Dynamic depiction of a Dimorphodon pterosaur in mid-flight, its elongated jaws and characteristic large skull rendered with naturalistic detail against a plain field. A semicircular arc below the creature suggests a horizon line, beneath which a skeletal fossil specimen of the animal is partially visible. Prehistoric flora — including fern-like and seaweed-like plants — flank the central design on either side.
