| Obverse description | Uncrowned left-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and facial features. The peripheral legend reads 'CHARLES III · BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY' arcing around the upper portion of the coin, while the date '2025' appears in the lower field between two small dots. The design is set within the characteristic equilateral curve heptagonal format of the British 50 pence denomination. |

The "Working for Victory" theme references the civilian mobilization effort across the Channel Islands during World War II — though the occupation by German forces from 1940 to 1945 means that story is complicated. Guernsey's wartime population worked under occupation, not in free service to the Allied cause, making the island's relationship to "victory" narratively distinct from mainland Britain's.
Guernsey issues commemoratives under its own authority as a Crown Dependency, independent of Royal Mint production.
