| 正面描述 | Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III in right-facing profile, rendered in high relief after the portrait by Craig Wilson. The King's features are finely detailed, with naturalistically sculpted hair. The circumferential legend reads CHARLES III · BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY, disposed around the upper arc of the heptagonal flan, with the date 2025 inscribed at the base of the field between two raised dots. The plain mirrored field of this proof strike provides a strong contrast to the frosted portrait. |

Guernsey's evacuation in June 1940 was among the most chaotic of the entire war — roughly 17,000 islanders left in under a week, many through uncertain crossings to mainland Britain, before German forces occupied the Channel Islands for the next five years. The railway station scenes commemorated here reflect the broader British mainland evacuee experience: an estimated 3.5 million children, mothers, and disabled persons were relocated under Operation Pied Piper beginning September 1939.
Guernsey itself issued no coinage during the occupation, making 1940–1945 a complete blank in the island's numismatic record.
