| 正面描述 | Uncrowned right-facing effigy of King Charles III, modelled in high relief after the portrait by Martin Jennings. The king is depicted with naturalistically rendered hair and facial features, without a crown or diadem, in a plain-collared truncation. The peripheral legend reads CHARLES III·D·G·REX·F·D·50 PENCE·2025, distributed around the heptagonal border, with the engraver's initials MJ incused in the lower right field. The design follows the standard definitive portrait adopted for British coinage from 2023. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts a charming winter scene inspired by Raymond Briggs' celebrated animated film The Snowman. The central composition features the Snowman, rendered in rounded relief and wearing his distinctive tartan hat and scarf, gazing warmly toward a young boy standing in the lower left field. The boy, dressed in pyjamas, holds a string of Christmas fairy lights that drapes across the scene, while a decorated Christmas tree adorned with baubles and a star-topped finial rises to the left of the Snowman. The stippled background field is populated with raised snowflake dots, evoking a snowy winter sky and lending a gentle texture to the design. |

The Snowman and James have appeared on Royal Mint 50p issues since 1992, making the series one of the longest-running licensed character coinages in British circulation history. The original licensing arrangement drew from Raymond Briggs' 1978 wordless picture book, which was itself adapted into the animated film that has aired on British television almost every Christmas since 1982.
The 2025 reissue continues the collector series rather than entering general circulation.
