| Reverse description | The reverse, designed by Jemma Gerrard, commemorates the 50th anniversary of The King's Trust and features a richly detailed, illustrative composition filling the heptagonal field. At the upper centre, a stylised crown incorporating three human figures serves as the organisation's emblem. Surrounding the central inscription 'The King's Trust', rendered in a flowing, mixed-case script, are vignettes symbolic of the charity's work with young people: figures engaged in outdoor pursuits including kayaking and cycling, standing figures representing mentorship, and decorative cloud motifs. The lower segment is defined by a curved ribbon bearing the inscription 50 YEARS WORKING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE in three lines. The engraver's initials JG appear at lower left. |
