| 正面描述 | Uncrowned left-facing effigy of King Charles III fills the central field, rendered in high relief with naturalistic detail. The legend CHARLES III is inscribed along the left arc and BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY along the right arc, both in incuse capital letters. The date 2024 appears in the lower exergue, flanked by two raised dots. The portrait is set against a plain, polished field within the heptagonal coin format. |

The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace remains an operational working stable — not a museum piece — housing the horses and carriages used in state ceremonial functions including coronations and the State Opening of Parliament. Charles III's coronation in May 2023 saw the Gold State Coach deployed from the Mews for the first time since Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee procession in 2002, making the building newly relevant as a commemorative subject.
Guernsey has no constitutional connection to the Mews whatsoever, issuing this piece under the same licensing arrangements that allow Crown Dependencies to produce collectable strikes bearing the monarch's effigy.
