Beschrijving voorzijde Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III, engraved by Glyn Davies, occupying the central field of the heptagonal flan. The portrait depicts the King in mature likeness with naturalistic detail in the hair and facial features, the truncation of the neck falling near the lower rim. The circumferential legend reads KING CHARLES III · ISLE OF MAN, with the date 2023 positioned at the base of the coin flanked by two raised dots. The engraver's initials GD appear discreetly on the truncation.

Beschrijving keerzijde Colourised depiction of a Loricatosaurus, rendered in naturalistic earth tones with brown and grey selective colour printing, shown in full lateral profile facing left and occupying the central field. The dinosaur is set against an engraved background of prehistoric vegetation including palm-like fronds and a stylised landscape horizon. The series title JURASSIC BRITAIN arcs across the upper field in bold raised lettering, while the denomination 50P appears to the lower right. Below the main design, a scrolled panel bears the inscriptions LORICATOSAURUS and PETERBOROUGH 1901, referencing the location and year of the fossil's discovery, all framed by decorative foliate devices.
