| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III, engraved by Glyn Davies, occupying the central field of the heptagonal flan. The portrait depicts the King in mature likeness with naturalistic detail in the hair and facial features, the truncation of the neck falling near the lower rim.
