Obverse description Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, modelled by Martin Jennings, occupying the central field of the heptagonal flan. The portrait renders the King in fine detail with naturalistic hair and facial features. The engraver's initials 'MJ' appear discreetly in the field to the right of the truncation. The circular legend around the periphery reads CHARLES III·D·G·REX·F·D·50 PENCE·2025, interrupted by raised dots as separators.

Reverse description A stylised dove of peace, rendered in bold relief, is depicted facing left and carrying an olive branch in its beak, symbolising peace and goodwill at the end of the Second World War. The bird's wings and tail feathers are shown in a sweeping, layered design that fills the heptagonal field. The upper legend IN PEACE GOODWILL arcs across the top of the coin, while the commemorative inscription VE DAY 8 MAY 1945 is displayed in the lower portion of the field, referencing Victory in Europe Day.
