| Descrizione del rovescio | The upper portion of the field depicts a stylised representation of the Sovereign's Orb, rendered with selective 24-carat gold plating to highlight the orb's surface, surmounted by a cross pattée above an arched band decorated with radiating engraved lines, evoking the jewelled construction of the historic regalia. The lower silver-toned field carries the inscription THE SOVEREIGN'S ORB in two lines, flanked by four fleurs-de-lis ornaments disposed symmetrically around the legend. The denomination 50p appears in the lower exergual area, completing the design. |

Guernsey has issued commemorative 50 pence pieces under royal license since the 1970s, operating independently of the Royal Mint while retaining the British monarch as head of state. The Coronation of Charles III on 6 May 2023 — the first in seventy years — prompted a wave of issues across Crown Dependencies, and Guernsey's regalia series divided the iconography across multiple pieces rather than a single omnibus design.
The Sovereign's Orb itself dates to the 1661 Coronation of Charles II, when it was made by royal goldsmith Robert Vyner as part of a wholesale replacement of the medieval regalia destroyed or sold off under Cromwell's Commonwealth.
