| 正面描述 | Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail by engraver Glyn Davies. The legend KING CHARLES III · ISLE OF MAN curves around the upper periphery of the heptagonal flan, following the shaped edge of the coin. The date 2023 is inscribed in the lower field beneath the royal portrait, flanked by two small dots. The truncation of the bust is bare, and the overall design is executed in a contemporary, naturalistic style befitting a proof issue. |

The Isle of Man has long operated outside standard Royal Mint arrangements, licensing its coinage rights through Pobjoy Mint and later other private producers — giving it unusual latitude to issue commemorative pieces that the UK itself would not sanction. This colourised silver proof marks Charles III's accession, referencing the traditional first line of "God Save the King," the anthem sung at his proclamation in September 2022 following Elizabeth II's death at Balmoral.
The Isle of Man is a Crown dependency, not part of the United Kingdom, and its coins — though legal tender on the island — are rarely encountered in circulation.
