Additional information

The Isle of Man was among the first territories to issue coinage marking Charles III's accession in September 2022, moving quickly while the Royal Mint was still managing the transition. This particular release ties to the formal proclamation of "God Save the King" — the first time the anthem had reverted to its masculine form since the death of George VI in 1952, over seventy years earlier.
