| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device consisting of the stylized monogram of the National Bank of Yugoslavia (NBJ / НБЈ) rendered as an interlocking geometric emblem enclosed within a rounded square frame, all set within a plain inner field. The bilingual country name encircles the design in raised lettering along the periphery, reading 'SR JUGOSLAVIJA' in Latin script at the top and 'СР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА' in Cyrillic script at the bottom. The legend is separated from the rim by a continuous border of raised beads running the full circumference of the coin. |

Yugoslavia's 1994 coinage was issued during the worst hyperinflationary episode in recorded history — surpassing even Weimar Germany. The dinar lost so much value so rapidly that this 50 Para piece was economically worthless within weeks of issue, its purchasing power obliterated before most examples ever reached a cash register.
