Obverse description Central field features a stylised tantric yantra design composed of interlocking geometric panels arranged in a cruciform pattern, with a trident (trishul) symbol prominently displayed within a central circle. The royal legend reading 'Shree Shree Shree Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev' is distributed in Devanagari script across the panels of the yantra. Symbolic motifs including a sun, crescent, and ritual objects occupy the corner cartouches of the design. The Bikram Sambat regnal year appears at the base of the central cross. The overall design reflects traditional Nepali royal iconography and Hindu symbolism.
