| Obverse description | Central field features the traditional Nepali square geometric mandala design, incorporating stylized floral and symbolic motifs arranged within a structured cartouche. The royal name and titles of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev are inscribed in Devanagari script both within and around the central device. The Bikram Sambat regnal year 2038 appears in Devanagari numerals at the base of the design. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's rim. |
