| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays the large denomination numeral 50 dominating the central field, rendered in bold raised characters with a decorative outline style. The inscription ØRE appears in the lower field beneath the denomination, flanked by stylized ornamental elements forming a scalloped inner border. The word PRØVE (meaning 'pattern' or 'trial') is inscribed vertically along the left side of the field. A heart symbol is positioned above the numeral at the top of the inner design, and the engraver's initials R♥P appear in small letters at the base below ØRE, identifying the mint officials. This is a pattern strike, never adopted for circulation — Denmark's 50 øre denomination ultimately continued in a different form, and this bronze proposal was rejected in favor of the aluminum-bronze composition eventually used in subsequent issues. Pattern coins of this type were produced in extremely limited numbers for internal evaluation by the Danish Mint and the Nationalbanken, making them genuine rarities rather than manufactured collectibles.
