50 Numismas - 2022 year of the Tiger

The Banco de Kamberra is a private fantasy issuer — not a sovereign central bank — operating out of Andorra, producing limited-edition polymer notes marketed as collectibles with no legal tender status anywhere. The "Numisma" denomination exists solely within this issuing construct. Franck Medina, the designer credited here, has produced work for several of these novelty series.

Collector demand is driven almost entirely by the lunar calendar theme and the polymer substrate, which gives these pieces a more convincing note-like feel than paper alternatives. Secondary market pricing fluctuates sharply with interest in the Tiger year specifically.
