Reverse description The reverse presents a bold, modernist graphic design commemorating 120 years of commercial exchange between Peru and Japan. The large numeral '120' dominates the central field, rendered in a stylized architectural manner suggestive of industrial and trade imagery. Japanese kanji characters reading 日秘交流 (Nichi-Hi Kōryū, meaning Japan-Peru exchange) appear to the left, and 120周年 (120th anniversary) to the right, flanking the central device. The legend INTERCAMBIO COMERCIAL curves along the upper rim, while PERU JAPON is inscribed in bold letters at the lower portion of the field, accompanied by the word AÑO integrated into the design. The coin exhibits a serrated inner border consistent with the obverse, and the proof finish enhances the contrast between the mirrored field and the frosted legends.
