| Reverse description | A detailed architectural view of St Paul's Walden Bury, the Hertfordshire country house that served as the childhood home and birthplace of Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, later Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, occupies the central field. The façade of the manor house is rendered in fine relief, flanked by trees and set behind a low boundary wall. A dotted inner border frames the design. The upper legend reads QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHER followed by HER PARENTS' HOME ST PAUL'S WALDEN BURY, arranged along the rim. In the lower exergue, separated by a dotted border, appears the date 1903 and the denomination 50 NGULTRUM. |
