| Obverse description | The central vignette presents three young Eritrean women in traditional dress and jewelry executed in fine intaglio against a multicolour guilloche underprint, with an orange camel device at right serving as part of the watermark area. At lower left, an oval vignette illustrates freedom fighters raising the Eritrean flag, flanked by two facsimile signatures captioned PRESIDENT and GOVERNOR, while the date 24.5.2011 appears in red at lower right. The upper border carries the STATE OF ERITREA legend in an ornate panel with numeral 50 cornerpieces, and a vertical embedded security thread runs along the left portion of the note. |
