Reverse description Central device depicting a stylised branching plant motif, commonly identified as a representation of the maidenhair tree or decorative palm frond, with elongated fronds radiating upward and outward from a central stem and flanked by curved foliate sprays on either side. The numeral '50' appears in the lower central field beneath the plant. The date 1955 is inscribed in the lower exergual area, flanked by star stops.
