Obverse description Central circle enclosing the Arabic legend of the Banque Centrale de Tunisie and the dual dating in both the Gregorian and Hijri calendars (1983 / 1403), surrounded by an ornamental decorative motif in the field. This uniface essai piece was struck on a polished planchet, producing a high-gloss, proof-like surface without the reverse design. The piece belongs to a set of seven paired uniface specimens, each obverse and reverse struck separately.

Reverse description Uniface reverse: the planchet is blank and unadorned, with a polished, proof-like mirror surface resulting from the special striking technique used for this essai set. This piece forms part of a series of seven uniface specimens in which obverse and reverse dies were each impressed on separate planchets, creating paired companion pieces. No design, legend, or denomination appears on this side.
